When you hang out in Cuenca anything is possible. You can visit a particular local market where the Curados or Kallawayas from the nearby Andes come to town and clear up any medical or psychological problems that you might have. The do this by administering herbs, rubbing an egg over you and many other techniques. My friend Kim is featured in the "Cleansing" on the video tape below.
